TESTIMONIALS

Hear it from Students and Parents

Grace is a fantastic teacher! She is so encouraging with my boys. She is very talented herself and she challenges my boys while making learning fun for them. She teaches reading music, playing by ear and composing music as well. My boys have grown so much under her instruction. I highly recommend her!

My sons took lessons with Grace and she is an amazing teacher! Very patient and kind, engages kids well, and had great communication with things sent home for practice. She obviously also is very knowledgeable about music and would help create music that my son was interested in. I’d highly recommend her for your kiddo!!

I like the different ways Grace helps me hear, listen and play all kinds of music. She is fun, laid back, encouraging and joyful. I always look forward to my lesson each week.

I really like Grace's teaching style. She has a good focus on the rhythm, not just the tune. I've seen some of her current students play. They play exceptionally well! She is really good at motivating students to practice regularly. From my perspective, she's the best piano teacher there is.

Grace has been teaching my three year old son piano for roughly one month now. So far he has been learning new notes on the keyboard each week, clefs in the form of a game, and he is able to play Mary Had a Little Lamb (with just a little help in some places). To say I am impressed would be an understatement! Getting a three year old to sit still and pay attention for 30 minute increments is not easy to accomplish, and yet twice a week my child comes out of his lesson with a new achievement!
If you’re considering enrolling in piano lessons, I would definitely recommend Grace, she is clearly a very gifted pianist and teacher and I’m very excited to see what all my child can learn from her.

Grace has taught my 7 year old, very active son. We weren't sure how he would do taking piano lessons, but Grace found ways to creatively keep him engaged. She is so kind and patient with him and has found so many ways to keep him interested and even excited to learn. He is so proud that he can play parts of songs that he is really into right now (Mario, Star Wars, Wild Kratts, etc). It has been so fun to watch our son stop at any piano he sees and play one of the songs he has learned! She is such a gifted teacher! If you are not sure whether your child has the ability to sit still long enough for piano lessons, I would encourage you to give Grace's Piano Studio a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

The Mommy and Me class is so fun!! My boys (1yo and 3yo) look forward to it every week. They are also retaining what they have learned and coming home to tell my husband all about it. Grace is patient with the kids and adjusts to their needs throughout the class. The class is repetitive so that the kids come to know what to expect, which helps them be comfortable. I recommend this class with Grace as a great bonding experience with your kids and start their love of music!

Grace's "Mommy and Me" class was a blast! It was well organized, each activity was very intentional, and a wide range of musical concepts were covered. Grace also incorporated many developmental skills into the activities (gross motor, fine motor, speech, social, etc.) It was an enjoyable way to introduce my toddler to music.

Grace taught me piano for a long time. She is a fun teacher, and she makes sure the student is learning and playing piano the right way. Grace is also a very good piano player, and everyone loves it when she plays the Hallelujah Chorus! She wants her students to have fun with the piano and not regard things as 'hard,' even if the level may be difficult to learn. Grace loves piano, and everyone loves Grace!

Grace is an amazing piano teacher! Not only does she teach many different things and in variety, but she also makes sure that you have the skills to become a great piano teacher. Theory, Classical, Gospel and Church Music are just some of the different types she will help you with. She also will make sure that everything she teaches you is for your particular needs. And, to top all of that, she is not one of those plain piano teachers who tell you what to do and then leave. She is very upbeat and encouraging!! Definitely not a "bleh" teacher. I took lessons from her for at least 5 years, and she is the best piano teacher I have ever had!! I highly, and I mean, very highly, recommend her as your teacher.

Grace Pulver has excellent skills in playing the piano, and she is an excellent teacher, working well with all ages of students and children. She is experienced in playing and teaching classical, southern gospel, gospel hymns and choruses, working with children from beginner to advanced. Your child will benefit greatly from her teaching experience and manner of working with children.

Exceptionally talented, energetic and encouraging teacher. Helps you set and achieve goals. If you want to learn from a great sight reader who has also trained in classical and gospel genres and has played in several different types of settings, this is the one!
